The global demand for orthodontics without braces has continued to grow over the last decade. As these appliances become more popular with parents and patients, new systems have been developed to provide no braces treatment with stable results.
More than 75% of children have evidence of a developing malocclusion as early as 5 years old. The Myobrace System™ is a highly developed myofunctional orthodontic system, which combines myofunctional habit correction, arch expansion and dental alignment into one integrated system that can satisfy the increasing parental demand for modern, early pre-orthodontic treatments. These appliance systems have enabled practitioners around the world to easily and successfully implement myofunctional orthodontic treatment methods into their practice. (Fig. 1) One of the newest appliance series recently developed is the Myobrace for Braces™ series, which was included in Myofunctional Research’s 2015 product showcase.

The Myobrace for Bracesâ„¢ series is a three-stage appliance system, which facilitates the treatment of the habits causing malocclusion at the same time that the patient is receiving treatment with fixed orthodontic braces.
The appliance series, which can assist in providing more stable orthodontic treatment results, incorporates the B1 for habit correction, B2 for habit correction and arch expansion and the B3 for habit correction in the retention phase with clear aligners. (Fig. 2)
