Dentofacial abnormality is one of the common problems in our society. Class III malocclusion is one of the difficulties in diagnosis presentation and treatment.
If we want to treat the patients who suffer from Class III malocclusion we have to take into consideration its main causes. These are classified in 3 groups:
- Mandibular over growth.
- Maxillary deficiency.
- Combination of mandibular prognatism and maxillary retrognatism.
It’s very important to diagnose the main reasons for the presentation of the Class lll malocclusion otherwise the treatment can cause new problems.
