What It Takes To Be A Diplomate?

I am proud to be a member of the American Orthodontic Society. And proud to be a Diplomate of this prestigious organization. And very proud to share with you that currently there are 52 Diplomates within the AOS. And the excitement and interest continues to swell! I have been asked over the past few months on several occasions, “How do I advance within the AOS Academy of Diplomates to gain Recognition Awards “. I always direct doctors to our web site, www.orthodontics.com. On the web site, if you go to the drop down tab “AOS Credentialing”, and click on “Learn More”, you will find a full explanation of our peer review process. I would however like to review this in my Orthobite this month. First of all, there are three levels: The Achievement; the Board Eligible; and the Diplomate.
