My colleague Nate and I arrived at Dr. Bill Wyatt’s family home and 700 acre ranch after a four-hour drive; both of us had a lot of curiosity about Dr. Wyatt’s life, his experiences and why orthodontics for general and pediatric dentists mattered so much to him. The following are some highlights from the conversation we shared at his beautiful Texas home.
What I personally really wanted to know was what made Dr. Wyatt tick. What was so important to this 95-year-old doctor that he would take an entire day to answer our questions and pass on his knowledge, stories and legacy? Why did he care so much?
